Texas Xmas 2014

 

We took a wrong turn at Sikeston and ended up going down Arkansas Hiway 67 - the "Rock'n'Roll Highway"

 

Spent the night at a campground in Hope, Arkansas.

... then took a turn through Mt. Vernon, Texas before reaching Dallas...

 

Touring southwest of Dallas, through Granbury and Dublin...

...to visit  friends in Brownwood...

... then to visit some other friends in Austin...

...we spent a couple of weeks in the Rio Grande Valley, at Mission and Brownsville...

... then New Years at Malaquite Camping at the Padre Island National Seashore near Corpus Christi...

... what's a Jefferson Campervan tour without a castle! :

... after a day in Houston, we travelled through Louisiana to Natchez, Mississippi...

... then took the Natchez Trace Parkway to Nashville before returning home...
