The Rialta

Our  2004 Winnebago Rialta HD was our "Jefferson Campervan" from 2004 - 2018 and carried us on voyages throughout Canada, USA and Mexico - and spent 8  years in Europe, ranging from Amsterdam to Istanbul, from Lisbon to Berlin. A magical chariot of memories that never let us down...

Winnebago produced the Rialta from 1995 - 2005. It is a small RV based on a Volkswagen T4 Van, called the "Eurovan" in North America. It differs from most motorhomes in that it is front wheel drive, which makes the roofline much lower. Ours is a 2004 HD model - basically a camper designed for a couple.

It is a marvel of shoehorning a lot into a small space. For example, the washroom has telescoping walls, so that it occupies the smallest footprint possible when not in use. It is complete with hot & cold water, gas stove, gas oven, microwave, shower, fridge with freezer, propane furnace,roof air conditioning, swivel front seats yielding the largest interior living space when not driving. Its small footprint and front wheel drive make it an easy driving experience, about the  same as a larger van.
